CAPP  has been a successful lobby group since 1992. it was created by oil producers all across Canada including the Alberta Oil Operators’ Association of 1927. the goal of the petroleum producers association is to educate the public on oil, better communications between producers and the government, and to ensure producers were conforming to rules and regulations.
