CAPP has successfully lobbied for oil and gas expansion with the BC Most of the BC Liberals platform is now based on the expansion of the oil and gas industry. As a group, CAPP has a large group of members with a large financial nest from which to pressure politicians. CAPP has members in every industry so they can easily avoid obstacles. As a result, CAPP is a successful pressure group.
